Quality Technician / Quality Inspector / Quality Control Inspector required to join a manufacturer based Newton Abbot, Devon.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Technician to join their fabrication workshop in Newton Abbot, Devon. You’ll play a vital part in maintaining exceptional quality standards across a range of steel fabrication projects, contributing to the success of a business renowned for precision and excellence.
We're looking for a background in quality control and inspection and must be commutable to Newton Abbot, Devon.
Package:
* £35,000 - Circa £40,000+ depending on experience
* 28 days of holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)

The Quality Technician role:
* Inspect fabrication work including steel, ensure compliance and sign off to specification.
* Inspect materials (both goods in and out) for quality and keep detailed records of this.
* Responsible for inspections, measurements and checks against engineering drawings.
* Have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to verify measurements.
* Liaise with various engineering departments
* Onsite in Newton Abbot, Devon
The ideal Quality Technician Candidate:
* Proven experience as a Quality Technician / Quality Inspector / Quality Control Inspector / Quality Assurance Technician or similar quality background
* Experience in steelwork, fabrication or metalworking would be beneficial
* Must be able to commute to Newton Abbot, Devon
