You’ll be part of the release governance team, overseeing application releases and ensuring high-quality roll-outs.

What you'll do
As a Release Governance Manager, you’ll assess release quality gates, create governance reports and communication materials, and establish evidence to satisfy audit controls and requirements. You’ll also help define the release governance target operating model, including process re-design and quality control guidelines.
You’ll collaborate closely with delivery teams, including project managers, testers, business representatives, and colleagues from release, environment, and cutover management.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring the scope of all releases by reviewing delivery progress regularly.
* Acting as release gatekeeper by reviewing delivery progress against defined release gates to ensure quality.
* Guiding projects and teams through release gates.
* Creating and communicating release governance reports to stakeholders.
* Managing cross-project dependencies and driving alignment activities.
* Coordinating communication to ensure successful planning, coordination, and deployment of bank-wide releases.
* Contributing to moving towards more frequent releases within the release governance model.
The skills you'll need
You should be an experienced IT project manager with strong project delivery background, solution and service-oriented, with a proactive approach to tasks. You need to be a self-starter, able to prioritize and plan effectively, and a team player with a positive attitude.
Additional skills include:
* Expertise in release gate assessment and reporting
* Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
* Ability to work under pressure and take initiative
* Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder relationship building
* Effective communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts clearly
