Salary scale: £42,796 - £51,000.
What is the purpose of this job?
You will work closely with our Senior Leadership teams to build organisation and people capability. Shaping and implementing effective people strategies and activities within the business to assist in the delivery of the organisation’s priorities. This requires the ability to work both strategically and operationally across the business.
Additionally, you will support the design and delivery of a range of People & Inclusion initiatives and projects aligned with the strategic priorities and People & Inclusion plan.
What can I expect to do in this job?

1. Build relationships with key stakeholders and provide pragmatic HR solutions that address both strategic and operational HR needs.
2. Maintain and develop knowledge of employment law and HR best practices, including networking externally.
3. Provide advice and guidance on employment relations matters, identifying and mitigating risks to the business through appropriate solutions.
4. Support the design, delivery, and management of learning interventions, including facilitation, coaching, and mentoring.
5. Advocate for change management, leading and supporting the business as needed.
6. Analyze business issues and develop people-based solutions, maintaining a commercial perspective.
7. Promote inclusion and well-being, delivering meaningful progress in these areas.
8. Develop digital skills and stay informed about emerging HR trends.
What experience, skills, and knowledge do I need?
You should be CIPD qualified or have equivalent experience, with a strong generalist HR background at an HR Business Partner level. You may have worked independently or as part of a team but should be capable of hands-on involvement when required. Specifically, you will be:
* Personable with excellent communication skills, able to connect with teams and understand their challenges.
* Confident, acting as a conscience of the business, comfortable in difficult conversations, mediating employee relations, and advising senior management on legal or policy issues.
* Possessing commercial awareness, with a proven ability to partner with and influence leadership across the organization to design and implement effective HR programs.
* Capable of measuring and tracking HR effectiveness using key metrics.
* Confident in UK employment law; experience with Hay job evaluation or similar methodology is preferable.
* Passionate about continuous improvement and creating an engaging employee experience.
