I'm recruiting for an experienced ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐ฌ๐จ๐ซ to support the delivery of major offโsite infrastructure works on a highโprofile UK construction project. This is a key role for someone with strong NEC contract experience and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance across complex civil engineering environments.
๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ข๐๐๐ญ๐๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ก๐๐ฏ๐:
โข Strong NEC works contract knowledge
โข A civil engineering background with understanding of MCHW and health & safety requirements
โข Experience in highways or major infrastructure projects
๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ
โข Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with the Works Information and NEC3 contract terms
โข Issue Defect Notifications and support the defect correction process
โข Review and approve material submissions prior to site delivery
โข Lead regular quality meetings and resolve nonโconformances
โข Liaise with local authority inspectors under S278 requirements
โข Observe site activities and report any unsafe practices or conditions
โข Maintain detailed daily records of inspections, tests, and site activity
โข Witness and verify testing and commissioning procedures
โข Use CEMAR, Field View and SharePoint for reporting and documentation
โข Provide clear written and verbal reports to the Project Manager and stakeholders
โข Support lessonsโlearnt activities and continuous improvement
โข Build effective working relationships with contractor teams and wider project stakeholders
