Following the proposed retirement of the current postholder, the Virtual School and Inclusion Service have a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a dedicated, committed and established team who work to manage and co-ordinate the work of school admissions and its associated duties.
The successful candidate would be responsible for overseeing, implementing and the administration of all aspects of the council's co-ordinated school admission arrangements, in-year transfers, admission appeals casework and fair access. Alongside this already interesting area of work, you will also be responsible for the implementation and administration of the eligibility aspects of the council's home to school and college transport policies and the assessment and implementation of entitlement to free school meals and clothing grants.
