1. Basic Salary £40,000
2. OTE £55,000+ (Achievable and Uncapped)

This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified HGV Technician to join a long-established, award-winning commercial dealership in the Portsmouth area. The ideal candidate will have experience working as an HGV Technician in a fleet or commercial vehicle dealership, be mechanically minded, and have a strong understanding of regular HGV Maintenance and inspection. 8. Flexible shift options available: Day Shift: 07:00 – 16:00, Late Shift: 13:00 – 22:00

Duties of an HGV Technician with our Client:
16. Carry out diagnostics, servicing and repairs to commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards
17. Use diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults efficiently
18. Provide technical support and advice to both colleagues and customers
19. Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards across the workshop
20. Complete all necessary documentation and job cards to manufacturer and brand standards
21. Keep up to date with vehicle technologies and attend training where required
22. Occasionally road-test vehicles post-repair to ensure high-quality output
What our client expects of their HGV Technicians:
23. City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
24. Experience working on HGVs, Trucks, Buses, or Plant Machinery
25. Great attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
26. Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
27. Good communication skills and a professional approach
28. Confident using diagnostic equipment and interpreting fault codes
