Location: Mayfair

Salary: £50,000-£80,000 + Uncapped Commission

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40–45 hours per week

Employment Type: Full-time


This role is ideal for an experienced, motivated and well connected BDM looking to play a key role in a fast-growing bridging lending company. As a key member of the team, you’ll help shape our growth strategy, bring in quality bridging deals, and be instrumental in establishing Expert Lending as a leading name in the bridging finance space.


Role Overview


As a Business Development Manager, your core responsibility will be to originate and manage short-term property finance opportunities through your broker and introducer relationships. You will be the face of the brand in the market, building relationships, identifying new business, and working closely with our internal team to deliver a fast, smooth lending experience.


Key Responsibilities

· Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, developers, introducers, and other property professionals such as accountants, solicitors, and surveyors.

· Source new bridging loan opportunities secured against residential, commercial, land with planning and mixed-use property throughout England.

· Qualify and package deals for internal credit review.

· Maintain a consistent pipeline of deals aligned with company lending criteria.

· Represent Expert Lending at industry events and networking opportunities.

· Provide regular feedback on market conditions and competitor activity.

· Support the executive team in driving growth.



Key Requirements

· At least 3 years’ experience in property bridging finance.

· A strong network of active brokers and introducers.

· Proven track record of originating quality first and second charge deals.

· Strong understanding of bridging structures, risk, and credit principles.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

· A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a passion for delivering results.

· Strong organisational and CRM skills.
