Role description: Value Analyst
Business area: Health Economics and Data Analytics
Purpose of the Role
Providing research, model development, and analysis support in all aspects of project delivery within the Health Economics and Data Analytics practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Project delivery: responsible for producing each deliverable to a high quality and ensuring self‑reviews are conducted prior to sending to the senior team for review.
* Deliver activities such as budget impact and health economic models, evidence synthesis (e.g., network meta‑analyses), literature reviews, written communication (reports, manuscripts, abstracts).
* Structural development of models and/or modification of existing models.
* Inclusion of all model parameters, using both published and unpublished sources.
* Conduct all relevant programming activities: model development, calibration and validation, testing and quality control.
* Conduct model simulations and analyses, including specification and conduct of one‑way, multi‑way and probabilistic sensitivity analyses.
* Prior to reviews: ensure deliverable is complete, data has been sourced appropriately and recorded, consult senior health economist, double‑check values, complete VA model checklist, record outcomes, perform spelling & grammar check.
* Consistency across deliverables (report, user guide, model); address client/client comments; manage versioning and file naming per SOPs; send deliverables to SHE for technical quality review and approval.
* Business development: contribute to proposal development where appropriate and when delegated by senior team.
* Innovation and practice area growth: involvement in initiatives to drive innovation and complete allocated activities.

* Ability to produce written documents of high quality in scientific content, style and grammar, tailored to target audience.
* Ability to create impactful communication tools (slide decks) to communicate outputs.
* Capability in building structured search strategies and identifying/assessing input data for health economic and data analytics projects.
