We are seeking applications from exceptional architects with proven project leadership and delivery skills showcased through a portfolio of high-value existing/listed building projects in London (construction values exceeding £30M).
The successful applicant will lead a team in the realisation of projects that stimulate the senses, in a hands-on role. This investor has a varied portfolio spanning a range of typologies, from boutique commercial workplaces to prime residential, high-end hospitality, luxury leisure and exhibition spaces. These projects all have one thing in common…they preserve cultural and historic significance whilst redefining contemporary use.
A minimum of 5+ years post qualification (Part III/ARB equivalent) experience working in a leading UK design practice.
Proven experience leading complex, high-quality existing building/adaptive reuse projects (£30-£100+ million) from planning through to completion, RIBA Stage 3+. Opportunities to work at earlier design stages on future projects will be available.
Adaptable communication skills – you’ll be working directly with stakeholders, contractors, and a multidisciplinary in-house team (interiors, development management, architecture etc.). Experience working with contractors and large teams of external consultants, managing construction processes (hands-on), responding to RFI’s and ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality design projects.
Ability to act as a single point of contact for high-value projects, reporting/presenting progress to stakeholders and internal leadership teams.
Revit (BIM) software experience is essential.
This role will evolve as the team grows throughout 2024/25 – when the successful applicant is in position, an additional hire (project architect level) will be initiated immediately.
