About the role: As Director of Sales within Caterpillar's Marine business, you will lead a global sales organization dedicated to solving our customers' most complex challenges. You will drive exceptional customer and dealer experiences while achieving business objectives through the growth of engine and services sales worldwide. This role is accountable for enabling value-driven solutions and shaping product and go-to-market strategies. You will lead a global team of sales managers with a strong focus on customer and dealer success, foster a growth-oriented culture, and ensure alignment, innovation, and excellence across every customer and dealer interaction. What You Will Do: Provide strategic leadership to a global sales organization, ensuring customers receive optimized, application-specific solutions that deliver measurable value Lead and deliver Marine business plan sales targets, driving sustained growth across the product and aftermarket portfolio Develop and execute integrated sales and marketing plans, including merchandising plans to deliver against annual and long-term business targets Ensure customer and dealer satisfaction through proactive oversight of product performance and commercial issue resolution Lead selling opportunities identification, strengthening customer relationships and expanding long-term partnerships. Build, develop and deliver robust global sales pipelines ensuring disciplined demand planning and forecast accuracy aligned with business objectives. Preferred: Industry Knowledge : Prior knowledge of the Marine industry is an advantage although not required.
