Patch Manager
Location: Carrickfergus
Hours: 37 hours per week, Temporary for 4 months initially
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
Hourly Rate: £16.90

About the Role
This role is key to delivering high‑quality tenancy management, estate management, and community support across Housing Executive properties. The Patch Manager will be responsible for managing tenancies from commencement through termination, handling void properties, supporting income collection, and working directly with tenants to ensure safe, sustainable, and well‑managed communities. This post is to provide cover for an acting‑up arrangement and requires excellent organisation, communication, and customer‑focused skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Tenancy Management & Sustainment
2. Manage tenancy terminations and Housing Executive empty properties (voids).
3. Carry out tenancy commencement activities.
4. Provide ongoing management of new and existing tenancies across various tenure types.
5. Support tenants seeking transfers within social housing.
6. Process applications for succession, assignment, joint tenancy, and direct exchanges.
7. Manage income collection and rent accounts for new, existing, and outgoing tenants.
8. Estate Management
9. Oversee general estate management activities.
10. Coordinate planned maintenance consultations, customer payments, and decant arrangements.
11. Promote community involvement, cohesion, and safety.
12. Liaise with the Leasehold Unit on issues relating to leaseholders within the patch.
