Overview
Turning Point Scotland Services in North Lanarkshire are looking for Support Practitioners to help provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either 1:1 or as part of a team. We hold Platinum accreditation and are Investors in People, supporting a culture of continuous learning and development. Our service aims to promote independence and choice, enabling individuals to lead the life they choose.
Responsibilities
* Provide practical and emotional support to individuals with varied needs, including physical and learning disabilities, autism, brain injury, dementia, mental health conditions, and complex or forensic histories.
* Encourage and facilitate individuals to achieve personal outcomes in daily life, such as keeping safe, engaging in meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, and emotional wellbeing.
* Assist with budgeting, personal care, and domestic skills to support independent living.
* Collaborate with families, health and social work professionals, advocacy services, and our own staff to deliver person‑centred care.
Qualifications
* No previous professional experience required; full training will be provided.
* IT skills are required for all vacancies.
* Successful candidates must register with the SSSC within 6 months of start date.
