We are looking for an experienced and proactive Lead Manufacturing Engineering to join a high-performing engineering team. This role will focus on optimizing current manufacturing processes, improving product quality and production efficiency, and supporting New Product Introductions into production.

Lead Manufacturing Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Lead the prioritization & allocation of manufacturing engineering activities within the business unit.
Optimize manufacturing processes for quality, efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Drive process control and capability to ensure reliable, repeatable production.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and first-time quality.
Support industrialization of new products including tooling, work instructions, and validation plans.
Implement and lead APQP, PPAP, and related readiness and approval processes.
Conduct structured problem-solving using RCA, 8D, and DMAIC methodologies.
Define and maintain routings, SOPs, and manufacturing documentation.
Design and validate tooling, fixtures, and gauging to enhance quality and repeatability.
Monitor performance metrics (yield, scrap, RFT, throughput) and drive data-led improvements.
Support technical training on processes, tools, and quality methods.
Contribute to capital investment projects including equipment upgrades and capacity expansion.

Skills & Experience
Demonstrable engineering team leadership experience in a cross-functional, industrial environment
Engineering project management experience with a thorough understanding of the associated tools and techniques
Experience working within manufacturing engineering within high-spec environments (machining, fabrication, assembly, or similar).
Proven background in continuous improvement and Lean implementation.
Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving.
Skilled in documenting and optimizing complex manufacturing workflows
