Norman Broadbent is delighted to be partnering with Chelsea Arts Club on the appointment of its new Managing Director & Club Secretary.
Founded in 1890 by Whistler and his Chelsea contemporaries, Chelsea Arts Club is one of London's most distinctive member-owned institutions. With 4,200 Members - the majority of them practising artists - it remains a true artists' club: a working cultural home in the heart of Chelsea, with a thriving hospitality operation, ten bedrooms, and one of the country's most active exhibition and events programmes.
The Club is now seeking its next Managing Director & Club Secretary to lead the next chapter - a moment of renewal, investment and opportunity. Working alongside a committed Board and Council, the postholder will oversee the Club's day-to-day operations while driving its long-term sustainability, stewarding a member-led artistic institution whose culture is shaped by those who belong to it, and championing an active, engaged membership as the Club enters its next chapter.
This is a rare opportunity to lead one of London's most distinctive cultural institutions.
Applications close at midday BST on Friday 3rd July.
