Interim In-House Commercial Litigation Solicitor - (6-Month Contract)

Overview:
A privately held business with a background in property development and recent commercial transactions is seeking an experienced legal consultant to support a series of high-value disputes and commercial matters. The role is critical in managing ongoing litigation and bridging internal legal and commercial functions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage multiple active disputes with a combined value of approximately £60 million, including complex contractual and fiduciary issues.
* Collaborate with external legal advisors from leading law firms and internal stakeholders.
* Handle a mix of defensive and proactive litigation, including:
* Contractual disputes
* Professional negligence
* Joint venture agreements
* Prepare and manage litigation bundles and case documentation.
* Provide strategic legal advice across commercial projects.
* Support junior legal staff and contribute to internal legal capability.
Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
* Strong understanding of litigation processes and bundle preparation.
* Commercially minded, with the ability to assess legal risk and advise on complex matters.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
* Preference for candidates with experience in both private practice and in-house roles.
