My client, an established Commercial M&E specialist are seeking an experienced Commercial Maintenance Plumber to join their team in London. Responsibilities
* Conducting routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
* Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and system malfunctions.
* Installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
* Collaborating with other maintenance professionals and contractors to address complex issues.
* Providing expert advice and recommendations to clients regarding plumbing system upgrades or improvements.
* Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
* Relevant plumbing certifications and qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating).
* Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
* A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all work performed.
Day-to-Day
* Responding to service requests and emergency plumbing issues in a timely manner.
* Performing scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent system failures.
* Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing systems to ensure minimal disruption to clients.
* Coordinating with property managers and other stakeholders to plan and execute maintenance activities.
* Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance service delivery.
