Criminal Litigation Solicitor — Position Overview: You will manage a varied caseload of criminal matters, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients at police stations, Magistrates’, and Crown Courts. This is an exciting opportunity to work on both sensitive and complex cases within a supportive, high-performing team. Key Responsibilities of the Criminal Litigation Solicitor: Represent clients at police stations, Magistrates’ and Crown Courts Prepare and manage criminal defence cases from instruction through to trial Advise clients on a broad range of criminal law matters, including serious crime Liaise with counsel, experts, and witnesses throughout the case lifecycle Manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision and autonomy Contribute to business development and departmental growth Maintain outstanding client care and uphold firm standards Requirements of the Crime Litigation Solicitor: Qualified Solicitor with at least 1-2 years’ PQE in criminal defence or litigation Strong advocacy and negotiation skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to work independently and as part of a team Client-focused, professional, and proactive approach High level of integrity and discretion
