The Education Assessor will play a key role in supporting learners on distance learning programmes, providing both academic and pastoral support, helping learners stay motivated and progress confidently through their courses.
What youll be doing As a Education Assessor, youll manage a caseload of learners and provide consistent, high-quality support throughout their learning journey.
Your responsibilities will include: Assessing (and where qualified, moderating) distance learning courses within your curriculum specialism Supporting learners through telephone, email, video calls and online workshops Monitoring learner progress, submissions and engagement to ensure timely completion Providing clear, constructive feedback to support learner development Maintaining accurate learner records and completing marking within agreed timeframes Working closely with the Distance Learning Lead and wider team to ensure best practice Creating a friendly, inclusive and supportive learning experience for all learners Who were looking for Were keen to hear from people who are passionate about education and learner success. xxuwjjq
Youll ideally have: An assessor qualification Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Maths Recent experience in a similar assessing or teaching role Confidence supporting adult learners in a digital or distance learning setting Strong organisation, communication and IT skills A supportive, approachable and learner-focused attitude Experience delivering training to adult learners or employers is desirable but not essential.
