Position
Full‑time substantive consultant in Sexual Health and HIV, based at the Wolverton Centre (Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust) on the Kingston Hospital site.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical care in both the integrated sexual health service and the HIV service, including GUM and integrated sexual health clinics and HIV clinic.
* Provide coverage for emergency presentations to the service.
* Share the “Duty senior clinician of the day” rota and offer advice and support to the multidisciplinary team and training to resident doctors.
* Manage emergencies presenting to the clinic or acutely unwell patients to the wards.
* Provide clinical advice to in‑patient teams admitting patients living with HIV.
* Contribute to the out‑of‑hours telephone on‑call service for GUM and HIV.
* Lead on the digital strategy for the department (if interested).
* Support service development, including establishment of new community services and improving access for underserved populations.
* Act as Audit and Research Lead for the department.
