Summary
You will need flexibility to work across the school delivering sports sessions over lunchtimes & after school clubs. Candidates need a willingness to work with children with high levels of educational need, although training will be provided. You will also deliver interventions under the direction of the Inclusion Lead and Class Teachers.

1st year per hour: £8.98 Full time salary of £17323. 30 hours, term time only pro rata actual salary: £11747 For 21-25 year olds 30 hours a week, term time only pro rata: £15967.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
For Sports provision you will:
* Offer support with sports events outside school alongside the teaching staff.
* Support with sports clubs 3.15-4.15.
* Work closely with the OPAL Play Coordinator to facilitate sports and play opportunities to embed play into the school’s lunchtime.
In the classroom, you will:
* Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils
* Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
* Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement
* Work in partnership with all parents/carers, building and maintaining positive relationships

You will recieve active support for all areas of nursery provision from the rich expertise within the school team. You will be working closely with an experienced EYFS team and partaking in Continued Professional development.
