Overview
Non-Medical Prescriber to oversee dialysis clinics located in Hamilton, Skegness, and Boston.
Eligibility
Qualified as an RGN Nurse with an active NMC Pin. Experience in renal nursing is an advantage.
Responsibilities
* Assessment of service user care needs, including complex cases, and development, implementation and evaluation of specialised care programmes, including pharmacological interventions.
* Make complex clinical decisions underpinned by advanced theoretical and practical knowledge, and impart highly specialised advice.
* Delivery of dedicated NMP clinics for the assessment and review of service users requiring pharmacological intervention or whose existing treatment needs are reviewed.
* Act as a key worker for service users with highly complex needs where non‑medical prescribing will enhance service delivery and improve outcomes.
* Support the Operations Manager with the management of the referral‑to‑treatment pathway.
* Provide clinical leadership and assist in the planning and development of the service.
* Undertake the assessor/mentor role and lead in the placement provision, providing a positive learning environment.
