MYM Recruitment are excited to be working with our Draperstown client in their search for an Accounts Assistant on a full time temporary basis.Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:Purchase payments ensuring supplies are paid correctly and on timeReconciling supplier statements, inputting and allocating paymentFinancial Record Maintenance process, verify and maintain accurate entries with maintenance of control accounts and lead schedulesBanking & Reconciliation conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurate and recorded in financial ledgersFinancial Reporting support the preparation of monthly management accounts, year-end financial audits and other statutory filingsPayroll assist in the payroll processingVAT assist in the processing of VAT, Intrastat and EC SalesResponding to and following up enquiries using appropriate methodsTo communicate effectively, liaise and negotiate internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationshipsTelephone dutiesAny other work deemed important to the Management Accountant.Essential Criteria:Good standard of education achievementGCSE MathematicsAt least 2 years experience gained in office based roleMethodical administratorConfident telephone manner and ability to deal with suppliers and customersWorking experience on accounting software and range of IT packagesExcellent organisational skills and ability to manage busy deadlinesHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skillsDesirable Criteria:At least 2 years experience gained in an accounts role.Previous experience using Nav and competent Microsoft Excel usageSkills:Accounts Assistant Banking & Reconciliation Payroll Processing Reconciling statements Vat ReturnsWHJS1_NI
