Practice Senior Manager

Cooper Lomaz is working with a growing Practice that has experienced significant growth over the past 12 months. Due to expansion in the General Practice Department, they are seeking to recruit a full or part-time Senior Manager. This role is ideal for ACA/ACCA or QBE qualified candidates responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing high-quality compliance services for a range of corporate and specialist clients.
Role Responsibilities
In this role, you will oversee general practice services, including corporate and special projects, managing a portfolio with annual fees of £240k. Responsibilities include:
1. Corporate taxation and finance
2. Company Secretarial duties
3. Providing projections and forecasts
4. Managing budgets and compliance processes
5. Utilising paperless software applications
6. Preparing budgets for accounts work
7. Raising bills and liaising with clients for debt recovery
8. Handling consolidations
Client Management
* Managing a portfolio of clients
* Building client relationships and identifying opportunities for additional services
* Introducing new clients to the practice
* Enhancing the business profile
* Demonstrating confident accounting knowledge in client interactions
* Engaging with senior staff and partners to understand the business
* Supporting marketing activities and attending networking events
Tax Compliance / VAT
* Reviewing VAT returns and communicating with clients
* Providing advice on VAT and tax returns, including capital gains and property income
Payroll
* Reviewing payroll services and submissions
* Liaising with clients regarding payroll matters
Staff Leadership
* Reviewing staff work and ensuring quality standards
* Delegating tasks and managing recruitment and training
* Supervising workflow and conducting appraisals
