Location: Service Headquarters, Salisbury OR Dorchester Support Offices, Poundbury – average one day per week at centre of duty; flexible remote work options available

Role Overview
The Recruitment Administrator supports the People department in delivering a wide range of recruitment and corporate induction activities, including whole‑time, on‑call, senior officer appointments, fire‑control campaign recruitment and promotion processes.
Responsibilities
* Play a key role in delivering recruitment and corporate induction activities
* Represent the Service at recruitment and career events to attract and engage talent
* Provide proactive People administration support to line managers, People Partners and employees
* Work closely with Recruitment Advisors to handle queries and resolve HR matters fairly, consistently and efficiently
* Support candidates and stakeholders throughout the recruitment journey, ensuring a professional experience
* Coordinate recruitment activities including pre‑employment checks and vacancy progression, keeping timelines on track
Qualifications
* 4 GCSE passes – Grade A*‑C / 9‑4, including English and Mathematics or an equivalent Level 2 qualification
* Previous relevant experience in an administrative and recruitment environment
* Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to customer care
Other Information
* Must be able to fulfil the travel requirements of the role
* A Standard Disclosure and DBS clearance will be undertaken on the successful individual prior to offer of employment
* Offer of employment subject to pre‑employment checks: identity, right to work in the UK, medical, reference checks and verification of employment history
* Compliance with the English language requirements for public sector workers (Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016)
