KEY ACTIVITIES Ensure compliance with Financial Control Systems and Procedures Manuals. Manage the AP/AR functions in Armstrong Medical Limited including credit control. Line management of 2 direct reports in transactional team Prepare UK & ROI VAT and Intrastat returns and submit on a timely basis. Complete all statistical returns. Accrual accounting and journal management. Prepare monthly Balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare end to end trial balances Preparation of supporting schedules for Legal Entity financial statements​ Preparation of audit files for the external auditors and liaising with the auditors for the annual audit Preparation of government grant claims and when required, facilitation of audit of such claims. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Essential Qualified or Part Qualified accountant Strong interpersonal skill Good communication skills Strong knowledge of technical accounting. Strong IT and Excel skills are required. Diligent and able to work efficiently with attention to detail, within required timescales. Desirable Sage X3/Power BI Microsoft Navision People management Previous experience in a manufacturing organisation ADDITIONAL INFORMATION There will be a requirement to travel to other group sites from time to time.
