Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council Youth Engagement and Participation Service is seeking to recruit a Youth Engagement & Progression Officer to facilitate the delivery of a high-quality Youth Engagement and Participation (YEP) Service. This includes supporting the authority in its work of delivering a high-quality Youth Engagement and Participation Service within a specific locality.

The post holder will support young people in RCT to improve resilience, preventing the need for statutory intervention or specialist help in the future. They will also work with communities to identify and respond to issues of disengagement, collaborating with other agencies supporting young people. Supporting young people to have their voices heard is a key part of this role.
