Our client is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Biology Technician. In this role, you will conduct a variety of biochemical and biological assays, working with plants, fungi, insects, and cell cultures. Your contributions will be essential in delivering high-quality data that supports the selection of chemical hits for the next stage of our invention pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Biology Technician, you will:
1. Execute and monitor multiple routine biochemical and organism assays, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data.
2. Identify and report any issues with your assigned assays to the relevant experts.
3. Collaborate with experts to organise and perform troubleshooting experiments, clearly communicating findings and adjustments.
4. Conduct development tests for both existing and new methods as required by the business.
5. Adhere to local safety rules and guidelines during all testing activities.
6. Maintain stock and equipment needed for your assays, planning and executing these tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
