The Trainer & Skills Coach role is required to manage and develop a comprehensive and innovative teaching and learning experience in a variety of practical and theoretical skills within relevant apprenticeship standards, to include but not limited to Nuclear Operative & Nuclear Health Physics Monitor. The role will require you to also ensure apprentices receive support, guidance and encouragement to succeed in their apprenticeship programme.
As well as developing technical knowledge and skills you will be instrumental in developing softer skills which are embedded within apprenticeships. This will require you to provide regular constructive feedback to learners and record their impact on their own learning on a regular basis.
You will also be involved in the development of new curriculum to ensure that it is focussed on industry practice and the learner journey.
Key Activities:
1. Delivery of nuclear, electrical and mechanical based knowledge and practical subjects at Level 2 and Level 3 developing independent learners.
2. Management of physical learning resources and teaching spaces required to ensure the training and assessment of learners is achieved within the guided learning hours.
