JOB TITLE: Scheme/Residential Manager
LOCATION: Tolvaddon/St Austell
SALARY: £14.62/Hr
DURATION: 12 months

We are looking to fill the role of Scheme/Residential Manager within a housing environment, As well as meeting housing demand our client aims to enable local companies to recruit the workforce they need from their communities.

The Role:
* Providing a high-quality service to older residents within a sheltered housing facility
* Visiting the Scheme at least once a week, providing advice to residents
* Dealing with tenancy issues and ensuring that communal areas are clean
* Arranging maintenance and repairs in the communal areas
* Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable groups
The Candidate should have:
* Ability to reflect on working practices and provide ideas for improvement
* Ability to work effectively with key partners to deliver shared objectives.
* Experience of applying common sense to situations and the risks
* Experience of working within the social housing sector or providing services to older residents
* Demonstrable working knowledge and understanding of issues relating to older people and provision of services in the locality
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Ability to maintain accurate records of information
* Ensures customer insight data is captured and feedback is listened to and acted upon to improve services.
* Ability to think ahead, to plan, prioritise and schedule activities to deliver organisational objectives.
* Committed to delivering quality work and meeting deadlines, making effective use of available resources.
* Ability to listen and communicate clearly and effectively.
* Ability to assess the extent and scope of a given problem or issue and decide what action to take.
* Motivational approach, inspiring and supporting others to achieve shared goals and build teams through effective communication, getting the best from others.
* Due to the nature of this role, a full valid UK driving licence is essential.
SUMMARY:
This is part time role, working a 15 hour, 2 day week
This is initially a 12-month position
A DBS is required for this role at Enhanced – Adult/Children level
