Working in a fast-paced manufacturing facility, you will enjoy a varied workload where no two days are the same.
You will be responsible for a mix of reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance and high-impact improvement projects.
This role is perfect for a solution-focused engineer who takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency within a modern production setting.
Offering a salary of up to £45,000 and working a Monday- Friday double days shift pattern.
The role of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Responding rapidly to mechanical and electrical breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
Executing a robust PPM schedule across all production and packaging systems.
Maintaining vital site utilities, including HVAC, refrigeration and compressed air systems.
Supporting the installation and commissioning of new machinery as part of ongoing site investment.
Utilising CMMS to record all maintenance activities, ensuring full traceability and compliance.
Driving continuous improvement by identifying ways to increase machine reliability and efficiency.
Upholding food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Experience and Qualifications needed for this Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role: Level 3 Engineering qualification (Essential).
Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with PLC systems is desirable.
A safety-first mindset with a solid understanding of LOTO and UK H&S regulations.
Competency in using CMMS and Microsoft 365 packages.
Benefits to you as a Maintenance Engineer: Salary £40,000
- £45,000 depending on experience.
Double Days (Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week).
Morning Shift 6am
