We are looking for a Trainee Technical Data Input Clerk to support our technical and operations teams by accurately managing production, specification, and process data.
This role is ideal for someone with an interest in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial operations who is keen to develop technical knowledge and progress within a busy production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately input and maintain production, specification, and process data within internal systems
Verify data against engineering drawings, job cards, and technical documentation
Support production and planning teams with accurate and timely data
Assist with basic technical reports and data extraction as required
Follow quality, health & safety, and data control procedures at all times
Skills & Experience
Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to work
Basic IT skills, including spreadsheets and internal systems
Confidence working with numerical and technical information
Ability to understand and follow technical documentation
Good organisational skills and reliability
Interest or background in manufacturing, engineering, or metal processing is desirable but not essential
