The Role
* You’ll support US SOC across UK/EU timezones and UK/EU customers with autonomy to shape local processes, tools & culture.
* Monitor, investigate and respond to security alerts (Tier 2-level responsibility).
* Contribute to developing the UK operational playbooks and standards.
* Act as the UK cyber presence, interfacing with existing engineering teams.
* UK hours with some flexibility for out-of-hours cover (not a shift-based role).
What You’ll Bring
* 3–5 years’ experience in a SOC environment (Tier 2-level maturity).
* Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Sentinel / Splunk / QRadar or similar).
* Strong understanding of incident response and threat investigation.
* Comfortable working autonomously in a developing function
* Relevant certifications (Security+, CEH, GCIA, CISSP or similar).
Package
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 + on-call
Bonus: Discretionary, linked to company performance and shared across the technical team
3% employer pension (up to 6% employee contribution)
