Archbishop Blanch School is looking to appoint a caring, proactive, and dedicated Pastoral Support Assistant to join our inclusive and nurturing school community. About the Role: As a key member of our pastoral team, you will play an essential role in promoting the well-being, attendance, and personal development of our students. Your responsibilities will include: Providing daily support to students with emotional, behavioural, or social needs Working closely with Progress Leaders and the Safeguarding Team Monitoring attendance and punctuality, and liaising with parents/carers as required Supporting with behaviour interventions and student mentoring Contributing to the creation of a safe, respectful, and positive school culture We Are Looking For Someone Who: Has a genuine commitment to supporting the welfare and progress of young people Builds positive, respectful relationships with students and staff Can remain calm under pressure and respond sensitively to complex situations Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills Is organised, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team Previous experience in a similar role or educational setting is desirable but not essential We Offer: A supportive and friendly working environment Ongoing training and professional development opportunities The chance to work in a caring and forward-thinking Church of England school A rewarding role making a meaningful impact in the lives of young people Salary £23,000 - £24,500 PAClosing date 14/09/2025hours 35 Hours - Term Time Full Time, Permanent 8am - 3:30pm
