Corin is seeking additional Quality Inspectors at our manufacturing head office site in Cirencester, where we design, engineer, make, inspect, and distribute globally. As a Quality Inspector, you will review and assess products and supporting documentation to ensure that specified standards for acceptance are achieved.
Ideal candidates will have previous inspection/quality control experience, familiarity with Taylor Hobson and Keyence equipment, and the ability to read engineering technical drawings.

Key responsibilities of a trained Quality Inspector include:
1. Inspect raw materials and semi/finished products against specifications.
2. Verify products using standard metrology equipment such as Shadowgraphs, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), callipers, micrometers, etc.
3. Identify and disposition non-conforming products.
4. Ensure accuracy and compliance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) for records including Process Inspection Sheets, Goods Inwards Inspection Sheets, and related documentation.
5. Record inspection outputs using software such as Mestec and Sage.
6. Conduct inspections across various areas including Clean Room, Goods Inwards, Manufacturing Cells, and Final Inspection.
7. Support training activities and assist buddy training as required.
8. Ensure equipment used is suitable for calibration and free from damage before use.
9. Manage calibration schedules and conduct periodic checks on inspection equipment.
10. Review batch records (DHR) and support batch release following Work Instructions and Checklists.
11. Collaborate with departments to resolve issues identified during DHR review and provide updates.
12. Perform transactional activities in systems like Sage and QPulse for batch disposition and non-conformance trending.
13. Maintain records for safe storage and efficient retrieval, including off-site records management.
14. Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements aligned with ISO13485 and GMP FDA21 CFR Part 820.
15. Support CAPA processes following SOPs and contributing to global quality objectives.
