An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and committed individual to join a specialist secondary school provision in Poole as a Part-Time SEMH Teaching Assistant.
This vital role involves supporting pupils aged 11 to 16 who face a range of social, emotional and mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and attachment or detachment disorders.

Your Role Will Include
* Supporting students on a one-to-one or small group basis to help them access the curriculum
* Assisting in managing challenging behaviour using trauma-informed strategies
* Creating a calm and structured learning space to reduce anxiety and increase engagement
* Encouraging personal development and emotional regulation
* Collaborating with teachers, therapists and support staff to ensure consistent care

* Experience working with children or young people, particularly with SEN or SEMH
