Welcoming patients to department & giving out relevant documentation for patient to complete.
Answering phone queries from patients and other departments. Preparing notes for clinics. Organising and booking patients into Cardiopulmonary exercise test clinic run by anaesthetists. Completing audio typing from anaesthetists from this clinic. Tracking notes. Booking and organising anaesthetic notes

Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria

1. GCSE grade C or above in English and mathematics or equivalent

Desirable criteria

2. RSA/OCR III typing or equivalent experience

Experience

Essential criteria

3. Previous administration/clerical experience
4. Experience with dealing with the general public

Desirable criteria

5. Experience in the management of anaesthetic outpatient pathways and clinics
