Join us as a Production Controller in the Pyrotechnic department at our Chalgrove, Oxfordshire site. This role involves processing data items and supporting the shipping processes of pyrotechnic devices used in aircraft escape systems. You will work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure defect-free products are manufactured in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.
You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the on-time delivery of customer orders, maintain high production throughput, and optimize stock levels and work-in-progress.

Aspects of the role include:
* Supporting the production plan with the PC, PED, and QA departments and implementing corrective actions to eliminate defects.
* Producing ammunition data cards.
* Processing contract data requirement lines.
* Managing customer order books and delivery reports.
* Handling deliveries to the Shipping department as backup.
* Reviewing production paperwork for customer presentations.
* Checking completed packing/production cards for errors.
Characteristics & Skills
* Familiarity with US Government packing and shipping requirements is highly beneficial.
* Experience in data processing and process coordination within a technical environment.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* Solid data analysis and typing skills.
* Attention to detail and thoroughness in work checking.
* English and Maths GCSE C+ or above, or equivalent.
