Nursery Room Leader

Day-to-day of the role:
* Create a safe and nurturing environment for children up to the age of five, focusing on learning and growth.
* Design and implement age-appropriate play activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
* Maintain detailed records of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
* Develop and manage specific programmes and activities tailored to students' individual learning and developmental needs.
* Review student progress and provide constructive feedback through the Annual Review process.
* Support the inclusion and acceptance of all students, promoting self-esteem and independence.
* Collaborate with teachers and speech & language therapists to support learning goals and deliver educational activities.
* Handle minor incidents, manage health and hygiene of children, and provide pastoral and learning support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 Qualified, CCLD, NNEB, CACHE or equivalent.
* Proven experience in implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage.
* Demonstrable leadership skills within a nursery setting.
* Strong knowledge of EYFS, SEN code of practice, OFSTED national standards, and relevant policies.
* Clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
* Proficient in ICT, with solid numeracy and literacy skills.
