About the Role
We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support our seventeen‑year‑old daughter, who lives with us and her brother.
Our daughter has a diagnosis of ASD, a severe learning disability, and experiences sensory difficulties. Her communication is limited; providing short, clear instructions works best for her.
We are looking to employ a reliable, trustworthy, and kind Personal Assistant who can support her with daily activities and outings—including the Fair, Beach, or Park days out, picnics (weather permitting), swimming, craft activities, bowling, and visits to the shops. Her daughter would benefit from the support of someone energetic, compassionate, and flexible, as visit plans can change on the day at her request.
Requirements
* Experience of providing support and care
* Driving licence and ideally a car
* Sick pay at SSP rate (if applicable)
* Training provided if required
* Flexible working hours and days
* DBS certificate paid for
Benefits
* 5.6 weeks' holiday per year
* Hourly Rate £14.00 per hour
