This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and build our Community and Events fundraising. We need a creative and enthusiastic individual to build a key audience of supporters dedicated to the difference Youth Options makes to the lives of young people. No two days will be the same, from supporting a fundraiser to reach their target, to planning annual fundraising events, presenting to local community groups, or running a stall at the local carnival. You will have the opportunity to engage with the local community, build a network of fundraisers, run your own events and challenges, and most importantly, help those who need support now more than ever.
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Eastleigh/hybrid with some travel across Hampshire
Hours: 37.50 hours per week. Part or full-time considered. Evening and occasional weekend work will be required.
Reports to: Head of Fundraising and Communications
Starting Salary: £25,740 - £28,275
About You
Experience: Working in a similar events or fundraising role; experience with people and building relationships across different audiences.
Personal Qualities: Strong alignment with our values of being committed, supportive, and inspiring; confident, approachable, friendly; highly motivated, able to work independently, and proactive; flexible and adaptable; willing to learn, with a positive attitude; ambitious and target-driven.
