Job Opportunity: Print Buyer
A creative printing company is seeking a Print Buyer to join its team. The successful candidate will leverage their knowledge and networking skills to build sustainable supplier relationships and manage contracts with key suppliers to achieve optimal results.
Skills & Experience
* Sound understanding and knowledge of all print production processes.
* Minimum of 2 years' print buying experience.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, especially in communication and negotiation.
* Team player capable of prioritizing schedules and managing workload effectively, with timely issue reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Utilize print knowledge to review and identify cost-effective printing, finishing, and distribution methods, maximizing value while maintaining quality, timing, and service levels.
* Project manage multiple jobs at various production stages with brands and suppliers, including proof approval.
* Produce accurate print specifications, select suitable suppliers, and request quotes.
* Review submitted costs for discrepancies, identify potential savings, and explore negotiation opportunities.
