Job Opportunity: HSE Advisor – HS2 Projects (Leamington Spa Area) Location: Leamington Spa and surrounding HS2 project sites Position: HSE Advisor Industry: Civil Engineering / Infrastructure / Rail (HS2) Contract Type: Permanent / Contract About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to join our team delivering critical work on the High Speed 2 (HS2) project in the Leamington Spa area. This is a key role supporting the safe and sustainable delivery of one of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects. As HSE Advisor, you’ll work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance on complex and fast-paced civil engineering works. Key Responsibilities: * Promote a proactive safety culture across all levels of site operations * Conduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks * Provide practical HSE advice and guidance to project and site teams * Support incident investigations and ensure close-out of corrective actions * Monitor and report on HSE performance against KPIs * Ensure compliance with HS2 standards, CDM Regulations, and environmental legislation * Assist in the development of risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and safe systems of work * Liaise with client representatives, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders Requirements: * NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (essential) * Tech IOSH or higher (GradIOSH/CMIOSH desirable) * Proven experience in a HSE role within civil engineering or infrastructure – preferably on major rail or highways projects * Familiarity with HS2 standards and processes (preferred) * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites across the region What We Offer: * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work on a high-profile, nationally significant infrastructure project * Supportive team environment with ongoing CPD opportunities * Long-term project pipeline in the Midlands region Apply Now To apply, please send your CV or call (phone number removed) for a confidential discussion
