Overview
New Priory Vets is welcoming applications from clinicians with a passion for ECC who are interested in joining their team on a full-time, 12 month fixed term contract. This Emergency Out of Hours role is based at an RCVS-accredited practice in Brighton with a sustainable approach to ECC night work using split shifts (4:30 pm–12:30 am or 10:30 pm–9:30 am).
Responsibilities
* Provide emergency and critical care (ECC) during night hours as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Deliver high-quality patient care, including on-site diagnostics and support for referred cases.
* Collaborate with on-site specialists, advanced practitioners, and RVNs to ensure governance and best practices.
* Engage in team and M&M meetings to uphold client and patient care standards.
Requirements
* Experience in emergency and critical care (or a strong desire to develop in ECC).
* Strong communication skills and a commitment to evidence-based medicine.
* Ability to work effectively within a supportive, collaborative team environment.
