About the role
North Northamptonshire Council is on track to deliver on its technology transformation and a major component is our M365 environment. We have an exciting opportunity for a technology focused Learning and Development Trainer/Adviser to join our Learning and Development Team, part of the HR team at North Northamptonshire Council.
What will you be doing?
You will design, deliver and evaluate face to face and online learning programmes across our workforce (c.2700 employees) to support SharePoint/Teams solutions, in line with business objectives for file storage and collaboration.
You will also develop and design course materials, user guides, manuals and exercises to aid learning, and provide professional advice and expertise to services on innovative leaning and development solutions, to increase understanding of technology and applications.
In addition you will be expected to maintain and promote the courses via both our intranet and LMS and contribute to innovative ideas to develop training solutions that improve user adoption of existing as well as new technology.
About you
As an experienced IT Trainer with strong people and technology skills, you will have excellent knowledge of a range of IT Systems with core skills in Office 365. You will be proactive and passionate about improvement and generating creative solutions. You will also have the knowledge and ability to self-teach and pick up systems quickly and apply that knowledge to pass on training as required.
