This is a hands-on role for people who enjoy tackling big challenges as part of a team, staying active, and seeing their work make a visible difference. You don’t need any previous experience in a warehouse; training will be provided.
A day in the life at our Packaged Distribution Centre and at our Fresh Distribution Centre.
Responsibilities
* Having a key role in supporting store colleagues by ensuring orders are assembled accurately
* Picking and manually handling stock
* Maintaining a clear and tidy warehouse and addressing potential hazards safely and efficiently
* Ensuring stock is received, stored, packed and transported according to high standards
* Taking ownership of your own and others’ safety at work
* Using tools provided and training material effectively
* Using Mechanical Handling Equipment efficiently
* Working both independently and as part of a team
