Driving Botley Parishioners to/from Medical Appointments
Botley aim to provide transport to / from medical appointments when no other option is available to the mostly, vulnerable, residents of Botley. Sometimes the trips are short, sometimes longer, as we endeavour to wait with or nearby the client at each appointment.
As a volunteer driver, your fuel costs are reimbursed but firstly we carry out a DBS check as many of our clients are vulnerable adults.
Relevant training & support are provided relating to this role that provides a lifeline for our clients and for you to give back to the community.
We operate a flexible volunteering opportunity, meaning you only assist when you can; we ask no more of anyone.
