Top 50 UK law firm seeks an experienced Media and Entertainment solicitor to join as a partner and lead a thriving practice. The role involves leadership of the practice and shaping the future of the sector.
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the Media and Entertainment practice, providing expert contract negotiations for actors, distributors, intermediaries, and other industry players.
* Handle general production and event agreements, licensing matters, dispute resolution, and financing for productions.
* Oversee matters ranging from complex stunts to securing IP rights and managing related tax considerations.
* Drive business development, client service, and collaboration within the firm.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 8 years PQE with solid technical experience in handling legal matters for film, music, television, social media or production.
* Experience in negotiating influencer contracts, advising producers, supporting broadcasters, or safeguarding IP within the entertainment industry.
* Aspiring to shape and lead a growing practice with confidence and a client-focused mindset.

Compensation
£ up to 100,000 per annum (DOE).
