Your Role as SENCO:
๐น Lead SEND Provision โ Oversee the provision for students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive tailored support.
๐น Develop Individual Support Plans โ Work closely with staff and external agencies to create and implement effective EHCPs.
๐น Advise and Train Staff โ Support and guide teachers on strategies to accommodate students with SEND in their classrooms.
๐น Collaborate with Parents and Carers โ Build strong relationships with families to support student learning and progress.
๐น Monitor and Assess Progress โ Track the development of students with SEND and adjust interventions accordingly.
Who Weโre Looking For:

SENCO Qualification (or working towards one) โ National Award for SEN Coordination preferred.
โ
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEND provision.
โ
Passionate About Inclusion โ A commitment to ensuring all students receive the support they need to thrive.
โ
Strong Leadership Skills โ Experience in leading a team and implementing strategic SEND initiatives.
โ
Excellent Communication โ The ability to liaise effectively with students, staff, parents, and external professionals.

Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to apply).
