Stannah has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Stairlift Installation Engineer to join the Installation Team based in Andover.
This job will involve learning to install and remove stairlift products in customer's homes while ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications, customer requirements, and Stannah's high standards for safety, care, and quality. You will receive full training and mentoring from experienced engineers to develop your technical skills and knowledge.
As the Trainee Stairlift Installation Engineer, you will work full-time hours. This job is a permanent position.
If you have a passion for mechanical and electrical engineering or experience within these disciplines then this could be the role for you.
Full training will be provided, which can take around 12 months. Afterwards you will be a qualified stairlift installer, ready to be making a real difference to our valued customers.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start a hands-on career in engineering, develop new skills, and work within a supportive and experienced team.
To be successful as the Trainee Stairlift Installation Engineer, it is essential that you have a willingness to learn and a passion for practical, hands-on work. Experience in electrical or mechanical work would be desirable.
Trainee Stairlift Installation Engineer Responsibilities:
* Assist with the installation and removal of stairlifts in customers’ homes.
* Learn to follow manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
* Support the team with loading, unloading, and site preparation.
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism.
* Complete relevant paperwork and administrative tasks.
Trainee Stairlift Installation Engineer Requirements:
* A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* A full UK driving licence.
* The ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
