As Assistant Care Manager, you will support the Registered Manager and lead a dedicated care team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You will work closely with the service manager and play a key role in staff development, service delivery, and maintaining care standards.
Role and Responsibilities
You will need to:
Support the Registered Manager in daily operations and lead in their absence
Supervise and develop care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred support
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with care standards
Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing for individuals with complex needs
Foster strong relationships with staff, supported individuals, and professionals
Oversee Specialist Support Managers and Senior Support Workers
Experience
Proven experience in care is essential. You will also need to demonstrate experience in residential care and managing challenging behaviours. Strong leadership, communication and IT skills are also key to this role.
